When people think of interior painting the first thing that usually comes to mind is picturing yourself having to paint the walls inside your home with a brush. That is not exactly a wrong perception of what interior painting jobs look like. We do however believe that just painting walls are only part of what we do. There are a lot of other things that go into painting interiors. Some of which actually involve not getting paint in places where it is not supposed to go. Preparing to get the job done right may be one of the most important parts of the job itself.
This is the process where we figuratively draw up exactly how it is that we are going to get the job done. From choosing the right type of paint to deciding which parts we want to start painting first. We also have to literally prepare the area for a paint job. This involves covering up floors and other structures around the home or building to make sure that we don’t get paint on them accidentally. This part of the process is really something that we pride ourselves in really making sure that we do it correctly.
Challenges In Interiors
With exterior painting jobs, it is very clear that the paint job will need to be able to stand up to the weather and pretty much anything in nature. For the most part, exterior paint loses its flair a lot sooner than paint on the inside. That doesn’t mean though that painting in interiors doesn’t come with its entire set of challenges. You have to remember that there are a lot of things running through your walls like pipes with water and all kinds of wires. This will put your paint job to the test especially in areas that are exposed to a lot of moisture. We have to account for that in our paint job.
How Many Coatings Does It Include?
This is one of the main questions that people have when they are looking into hiring our services. Right of the bat what we can say is that we don’t charge based on a packaged deal that includes x amount of layers per wall. As we’ve just explained each situation may be unique and so to should the paint job. We may recommend applying different types of paint or special coating on different types of walls. We can’t really talk about a specific number, but we can do as many as needed.
Who Buys The Paint?
This one really depends! We usually like to be involved in the entire painting process. Our rates are going to be based on a number of factors that will include the cost of paint of course. If you want to provide the paint for us we can make that work. Otherwise, we will be fully responsible for providing the paint and all of the tools that we need to be able to get the job done!
